The Dismantling of Evil Altars in a Kairos Season
As we journey through Day 5 of the CLC Fasting and Prayer, we are reminded that every season God ushers us into is intentional. This year has been declared our Year of Kairos, a divinely appointed season where God intervenes decisively in the affairs of His people.
A Kairos season is not ordinary time. It is a moment when heaven steps into history, when delays are broken, cycles are disrupted, and long-standing spiritual structures that oppose God’s purpose are confronted by divine authority.
Today, our focus is on altars.
Understanding Altars and Their Influence
Altars are spiritual platforms that speak, authorize, regulate, and influence outcomes. While God establishes righteous altars for covenant and blessing, the enemy also erects evil and ancient altars, many rooted in bloodlines, family histories, and unseen covenants, that negatively regulate destinies.
These altars can influence:
Patterns of struggle and stagnation
Repeated failures and disappointments
Delayed breakthroughs
Family afflictions and cycles
But in a Kairos season, God empowers His people not just to pray, but to confront and dismantle.
Main Prayer Focus
Every evil and ancient altar, remotely regulating and influencing my life and destiny negatively—
I release God’s fire against you and render you powerless over me and my household, in Jesus’ name.
Lose your effect over the affairs of my life and family.
This is not a prayer of fear, but a declaration of spiritual authority. In Christ, we are not victims of altars, we are altar-breakers.
Scriptural Foundation
1 Kings 13:2–3
The prophet cried out against the altar by the word of the Lord. Before the altar was destroyed physically, it was judged spiritually. This teaches us that when God speaks, ancient systems lose their power.
Judges 6:25
Before Gideon could rise as a deliverer, God commanded him to tear down his father’s altar to Baal. Deliverance for a generation began with the destruction of a hidden altar.
A Kairos Call to Action
In this Kairos season:
Old spiritual structures must fall
Voices speaking against your destiny must be silenced
Covenants not planted by God must be uprooted
Families must be repositioned for freedom and forward movement
God’s fire does not negotiate with darkness—it consumes it.
Prayer Declaration
Today, we stand in faith and declare:
No altar, ancient or recent has authority over our lives beyond the finished work of Christ. By the fire of God, every negative regulation is terminated, every influence is broken, and every destiny is realigned with God’s original design.
This is our Kairos moment.
This is our season of divine interruption.
This is our day of altar dismantling.
